Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Trending Photo Prompt ("we", "us", "the Service") is an AI photo prompt and image-generation tool operated by an independent developer. Contact: support@trendingphotoprompt.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address and an authentication token via Supabase Auth. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile claims from Google.

Profile and usage. We store your user ID, current credit balance, account creation time, and a log of your image generation requests (prompt text and resulting image URL) so you can review them.

Prompt content. When you generate an image, the prompt text you submit is sent to our image-generation provider (fal.ai) to produce the image. Prompts are also stored in our database so you can revisit your history.

Reference photos. If you upload a reference photo in the browser studio, the current version keeps it in your browser only and does not upload it to our server.

Payment data. Payments are processed by Creem (our Merchant of Record). We do not see or store your card details. From Creem we receive: the checkout ID, product ID, amount, payment status, and the email you used to pay.

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and named events (such as prompt generation, CTA clicks, saved prompts). Events do not include your prompt text, email, or uploaded file names.

Local browser storage. We use localStorage to remember saved prompt sets and waitlist entries on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Operate the Service: account login, credit tracking, image generation, and prompt history.
• Process payments and grant credits via Creem webhooks.
• Customer support and dispute handling.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
• Improve the Service using aggregated analytics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prompts or generated images to train any model.

4. Subprocessors

We rely on the following providers to deliver the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and database (user accounts, credits, generation history).
• Vercel — website hosting and Web Analytics.
• Creem — payment processing as Merchant of Record (handles card data and tax).
• fal.ai — AI image generation; receives your prompt text to produce images.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Each subprocessor processes data under its own privacy policy and contractual safeguards.

5. International Data Transfers

Our subprocessors operate servers in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers out of the EEA / UK.

6. Data Retention

• Account and profile data: retained while your account is active.
• Generation history: retained while your account is active; you may request deletion.
• Order records: retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations, even after account deletion.
• Analytics: retained in aggregate; no per-user identifiers are stored.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention for billing records).
• Export a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including analytics.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, row-level security in our database, and never store card data. No service can guarantee perfect security; you remain responsible for protecting your account credentials.

10. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for product usage measurement. You can block analytics cookies via your browser settings without affecting core functionality.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
